The role requires you to undertake electrical safety inspections to portable and similar equipment at clients’ premises throughout the UK.

You will be based from home, with work booked on a weekly basis from our head office.

The position requires travel on a daily basis and often overnight stays for sites further a field.Travel, overnights & expenses will be paid.

You will be carrying out portable appliance electrical testing (PAT Testing) at business and commercial premises to ensure all portable electrical items are safe for use and that an excellent service is delivered to key clients. Due to our continued expansion Parkside Facility Services are looking for a Multi-skilled PAT tester / Maintenance Technician

You will perform a range of duties including the electrical testing and inspection of portable appliances, additionally you will carry out basic maintenance and repair tasks as defined, at a variety of client sites around Bradford/Leeds and surrounding areas. You will need to ensure all work is carried out efficiently and to acceptable standards whilst providing excellent customer service at all times.

The package includes a competitive salary, all equipment, plus a van and mobile phone to enable you to complete the role as required.

The successful candidate:

Track record of Portable Appliance Testing

PAT Tester - London

Details: ARC RT are currently recruiting for a PAT Tester to work for our client who is an electrical and safety compliance company.

You will be required to attend commercial properties to complete the PAT Testing and will only be required to visit one place each day, sometimes the jobs are bigger so you will be based at one site all week.

The client is able to give the PAT Tester at least 400 tests to complete each day and more if required. On average the PAT Testers with this client will test 2000 items per week.

We require a good level of experience with commercial PAT Testing as well as the C&G 2377 qualification.

In return our client will give you a van, fuel, test equipment, bonus, paid holiday and stay away bonus should you need to be away.

We have an exciting opportunity within our Portable Appliance Testing division for a full time Field PAT engineer.

The role requires you to undertake electrical safety inspections to portable and similar equipment at clients’ premises locally, within the North of England and occasionally throughout the UK.

You will be based from home, with work booked on a weekly basis from our head office.

The position requires travel on a daily basis and often overnight stays for sites further a field.Travel*, overnights & expenses will be paid.

Training, equipment, uniform, PPE & a pool van will be provided.

Following training you will carry out safety inspections and electrical tests to the equipment recording the data within a handheld computer and further advising the client of your findings.

The role is customer facing so good communication skills will be required.

Some experience/knowledge of "PAT Testing" is preferred though full training will be provided for the right applicant.

Salary;

Full time- 40 hours per week

From £7.83 per hour (or in line with living wage at the time of appointment) plus a generous bonus incentive. *All travel paid from first half an hour to last half an hour as per tracker.
