Based from home, your work will include some night and Saturdays. Although You need ideally to be trained to C&G2377 and have had some Previous PAT Experience we can provide in house training if needed. The average annual income for engineers is currently between £25,000 to £40,000, (@30p per test) approx 300-500 tests per shift however this is uncapped. you can be Self-employed or employed PAYE . You will need your own transport which is payable to you at 28p per mile from home to job and back. Candidate is to be based around Bristol area but will be required to travel where needed for work. Areas of work are mainly Bristol, Wales, Devon, South Coast area but if further afield work is undertaken and overnight stays, travel expenses and hotel costs covered by us. The Role

As an Electrical Equipment Tester (PAT Tester) at Guardian Electrical Compliance, you will carry out inspections and tests on electrical equipment in commercial and industrial environments. You will make sure everything meets the standards set out in the latest IET Code of Practice – and keep clear, accurate records of your work for our clients and auditors.

The job of a Portable Appliance Test Engineer involves the inspection and testing of portable appliances in and around client premises. In the main this will be achieved in normal working hours but there may be occasions when there is a requirement to work out of hours dependent on the type of site and client access.
