The Seaward Primetest 250 is an easy to use handheld battery operated tester. A range of tests for Class 1, Class 2 and extension leads are selected with a single push of a button. The tests are carried out against pre-set limits with measured test result values and clear PASS/FAIL indication on a large display. Connecting the tester to a mains supply allows protective conductor current or touch current measurements to also be made.
RCD trip times can be measured to meet the requirements of the IEE Code of Practice. Earth continuity and earth leakage current on 3 phase equipment can also be measured via an optional 3 phase adaptor.
