The SigmaPAT is an extremely versatile tester that can be battery or mains powered. With mains power the SigmaPAT can perform a high current earth continuity test (10A) and full leakage and load test. Other key features include RCD trip time testing for both plug in RCDs and RCD socket outlets. A unique feature is the ability to perform an active polarity test; this enables RCD protected extension cables to be tested for polarity. The Sigma PAT also includes terminals and leads for fast and easy testing of fixed wired equipment. A built in check box provides an effective means of checking the calibration. The Code of Practice requires the accuracy of the tester to be verified at regular intervals and recorded. The calibration check results are automatically stored and can be viewed with the PATLink pro software.
