On Your Site PAT Testing Training

On-site PAT Course

We can also organise courses at your premises. The onsite training allows us to tailor the course content to meet your own particular requirements specific to your workplace.

We bring everything needed for the course, including sample test equipment, however we can often make the course more relevant by demonstrating the testing using your equipment. Our trainers have a wide knowledge of portable appliance test instruments and can demonstrate various types and offer unbiased advice on the most suitable for your requirements. If you already have your own test equipment, we can use this for the training.

Competent Person Certificate

Our standard onsite PAT Competent Person course is based around the IEE Code of Practice. We try to make the training as practical as possible with the emphasis on hands on learning. Delegates will receive a certificate of competence upon completion of a short test and practical assessment. Prices start form £600 +VAT.

EAL Qualification

We can also organise an on-site course with a formal EAL qualification. The EAL Certificate in In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment, is a level 3 vocationally related qualification, equivalent to the C&G 2377. The course duration is normally one day and includes a one hour online exam. Upon successful completion candidates will receive an EAL qualification and certificate. Prices start from £840 +VAT

City & Guilds Qualification

An onsite course with the City & Guilds 2377 is usually run over two consecutive days. The course includes a 1 hour 45 minutes exam and a recorded practical assessment. Upon successful completion candidates will receive a City & Guilds 2377-22 qualification and certificate. Prices start from £1,440 +VAT.
