Job Summary

To carry out PAT Testing in commercial properties ranging from schools/colleges/universities, hospitals/medical centres to hotels and shops, all to a high standard. You will work remotely coming to Swindon once per month for a team meeting and restock for the next month. As such you will be responsible for yourself day to day, dealing with clients and will understand that communication is vital.

You would then spend the remainder of the 2 week training period working with our existing staff so you can get some hands on experience. We will then have a technician come and work with you for a 3rd week allowing you to get to grips with the job on the road. Staff are paid monthly, for all the hours worked in the month they are paid on the 5th of the following month. You will by agreement be allowed to use the company car for personal usage.

PAT Tester - Stirling

Details: Stirling Electrical Services Ltd are currently recruiting for a qualified PAT Tester preferably with general electrical work experience.

This role can either be on a full time or part time (AD-Hoc) basis.

Salary of around £20,000 - £22,000 per annum dependant on experience and qualifications. Salary pro-rota dependant on hours worked per week.

You will be employed by a well known respected electrical and security system company and joining our team of qualified electricians, security system engineers and apprentices.

As well as carrying out appliance testing at our customers premises throughout Scotland your role will also be to work alongside our office team in organising our testing schedule as well as playing an important role in growing this well established part of our business.

The preferred candidate would also have general electrical work experience, to work towards also carrying out emergency lighting and smoke alarm testing within our customers properties - training if required will be provided.

Summary Details:

40 Hours Monday to Friday working (if full time) with overtime and stand-by cover available.
Work mostly within but not restricted to Central Scotland.
Must have good technical knowledge with relevant PAT Testing City & Guilds 2377 qualification and the ability to work alone and as part of a team as well as excellent customer service skills.
Experience working with electrical systems is preferable.
Competitive rates of pay with salary based on skills and experience.
Work place is based in Stirling with company van provided for work purposes.
PAT Testing equipment provided with company uniform.
Good IT skills required.
Full UK clean driving license required.
